 The
ranch has both low and high fenced hunting acreage that is
rich in Whitetail and Axis Deer, Blackbuck Antelope, Aoudad
Sheep, Rio Grand Turkeys as well as White-wing and Morning
Doves. We have initiated a new Quail Restoration Program and
hopefully we will in the near future have an increase in our
quail population.
The ranch’s hunting operation comes equipped with 11
feeders and deer blinds, well-utilized food plots, and a walk-in
cooler. Our Whitetail Deer Management Program is based upon
selective harvest, supplemental feeding, as well as extensive
use of both warm and cool season food plots. This program
has allowed us to make great progress in improving our game
herd. We also have been successful at balancing our Whitetail
Management Program with Game Management Programs specifically
designed for small breeding herds of Axis Deer, Blackbuck
Antelope, and Aoudad Sheep. These select exotics were free
ranging before our high fence was constructed and we have
controlled and improved their populations to add diversity
to our client’s hunting as well as to increase our ranch’s
visual interest. However the ranch’s foremost game management
commitment is to produce Trophy Whitetail Deer.
