Spring
Turkey Hunts
The Comanche Rock Ranch has a large Rio Grande Turkey population
and we have good spring turkey hunting for a two-day hunt.
Several turkeys are taken each spring.
Bow
Hunting in the Low Fenced Area
Comanche Rock Ranch has an area adjacent to Enchanted
Rock State Natural Area which is not routinely hunted and
thus provides and excellent opportunity for a bow hunter.
If you are interested in arranging a three day hunt, please
contact us for details.
Varmint
Hunting
The ranch is home to Coyotes, Bobcats, Raccoons,
Ringtail cats, Badgers, and Red and Gray Fox. The taxidermist
will handle the pelt for you if you want to have it tanned
or mounted as a full body mount. Lodging
can be arranged in the ranch lodge or in Fredericksburg.
